Pennies for Pencils is a fundraising event put on by Literacy First Charter School and Free the Children. Our school (LFCS) was able to raise enough money to give a village in Ecuador a school and a well for drinking water last year. This year, our goal is to raise $17,000 by May 20th in order to build 2 more schools in the surrounding areas.
